The Colorado Open Pro-Junior Tournament is an exciting event that brings together professionals playing in the Colorado Open and junior golfers from Colorado First Tee chapters. It’s a fantastic opportunity for young talents to showcase their skills and learn from professionals. The tournament creates a vibrant atmosphere filled with competition, camaraderie, and the love for the game.
- Format: 9 Holes of Alternate Shot Stroke Play on the Par 3 Course. Colorado Open participant will tee off on the even numbered holes and the First Tee participant will tee off on the odd number holes. Players will alternate hitting shots until the ball is holed out or the maximum stroke limit of 6 is reached. The ball must be played as it lies.
- Entry Fee: $40 per child Includes golf, access to practice facility, team photo & player favor!
- Parking: Green Valley Ranch Golf Club 4900 Himalaya Rd, Denver, Colorado 80249
- Location: Green Valley Ranch Golf Club Par 3 Course
- Team Competition: 2 Players – One First Tee participant & one Colorado Open Championship participant.
- Field Limit: The field is limited to 36 teams
- Awards: Presentation will follow play
Qualifying
First Tee – GVR participants are invited to compete in qualifying for the tournament
- Top 18 scores qualify
- Qualifying is held in June on the Par 3 Course before the tournament
